CE/CME Credits Pending | Cultural Competence
Members: $440  |  Non-members: $630  |  Retirees: $315 Students: $250

In a world shaped by generational harm, social division, and ongoing upheaval, this immersive workshop series offers a space to reflect, restore, and reconnect.

The six-part series explores how trauma lives not just in individuals – but also in systems, communities, and collective memory.

With a blend of experiential practice and small and large group work, each session helps to make sense of collective trauma through a relational, embodied, and socially conscious lens.

WHO THIS IS FOR

This series is designed for mental health professionals at all levels who are interested in going beyond the individual-focused frame of trauma work to name, navigate, and respond to the larger forces shaping clients' experiences and our own.

WHAT YOU'LL LEARN

Over the course of the series, you’ll explore:

  • How trauma is transmitted through generations, institutions, and cultural systems
  • How dominant socially constructed narratives shape what we see and how we respond
  • Ways to engage ancestral grief, communal mourning, and embodied presence in your clinical work
  • How to become a more attuned, relationally grounded practitioner — especially in complex sociocultural contexts
