Founding members

The New Washington School of Psychiatry was founded in 2023 by a small group of deeply committed psychoanalytic psychotherapists in Washington, DC. These founding members came together with a shared purpose: to preserve the legacy of the Washington School of Psychiatry and reimagine it for a new generation. Their dedication, leadership, and belief in community-centered learning laid the foundation for everything NWSP is today.
