Support the mission of the New Washington School of Psychiatry

Psychodynamic theory continues to be at the forefront of helping to heal the human spirit. Your donation helps NWSP continue to offer its hallmark training programs to deeply committed therapists and develop new programs for the community to think and learn together about being a relational therapist in our current world.

Scholarships

We are committed to making NWSP’s rigorous and relationship-centered learning accessible to all. Donations to our general scholarship fund support early-career clinicians, agency employees, and those from underrepresented communities in attending our training programs, seminar series, and conferences. Every gift helps meet the growing need for financial support.

The Mary Dluhy Scholarship Fund

This fund honors Mary Dluhy, MSW, CGP, AGPA-F—founding faculty member and longtime leader of the National Group Psychotherapy Institute (NGPI). Over more than 30 years, Mary served as Dean, Program Chair, Large Group Consultant, mentor, teacher, and co-editor of Windows into Today’s Group Therapy. She co-authored The Large Group Experience: Affiliation in a Learning Community, and joyfully supported the growth of group therapists at all stages of their careers.

Gifts to this fund provide tuition support for participants in the NGPI 2-Year Intensive Training Program. Priority is given to early-career professionals, agency-based clinicians, and members of marginalized communities engaged in—or preparing to engage in—group therapy practice.
