Tuesday evenings, February – May 2027
Registration opens: September 1, 2026
Tuition: $900
The CCPP program offers a warm and rigorous introduction to the core concepts of psychodynamic psychotherapy – with an emphasis on the relational, the unconscious, and the deeply human.
Designed for early-career mental health professionals or those new to psychodynamic thinking, this course blends theory, case-based learning, and collaborative dialogue in a learning environment that honors lived experience, professional development, and reflective practice.
Together, we’ll explore how the therapeutic relationship becomes the space where healing happens – and how we, as clinicians, can cultivate the curiosity, presence, and attunement to support our clients’ insight, agency, and growth.
This program is designed for early-career clinicians and those who want to learn about psychodynamic thinking.
By the end of the program, participants will be able to:
- Describe how the unconscious affects how we act, think and feel, and the evidence of unconscious bias
- Conceptualize and understand the importance of the frame
- Learn how to assess and work with affect, anxiety, defenses and resistance
- Understand how trauma can impact development
- Learn how to discern and work with transference and countertransference in the therapeutic relationship
- Expand understanding of different kinds of endings
Enrolled students will be provided with the class schedule and syllabus.
Tuition is $900. Partial scholarships available for demonstrated need.
